What’s So Good About IPL Hair Reduction?

Cheshire Aesthetic Clinic | IPL Hair Removal | Underarm hair removal

IPL works by using a broad spectrum of wavelengths made up of different colours, different phases and different directions.
It is for those reasons that IPL is so versatile meaning it can be used for acne treatments, skin rejuvenation and anti ageing and most commonly for permanent hair reduction.

IPL (intense pulse light) is a great solution for men and women who want a more permanent hair reduction solution. It is a brilliant choice for anyone who has ingrowing hairs and other unsightly hair growth patterns or for those difficult to reach areas such as backs.

IPL hair reduction can be a great way to reduce hair on all areas of the body, legs, underarms, back, upper lips and chins and of course the bikini area.
Men and women both find IPL hair reduction a fabulous and easy way to stay hair free. Thanks to changes in technology it is no longer true that hair has to be black and skin light, IPL hair reduction works on all hair and skin types.

After you have had a treatment it is essential that you do not sunbathe as your skin is vulnerable to UVA and UVB and so make sure you are wearing factor 30 all the time.
In between treatments clients are also advised not to wax, tweeze, thread or pluck the hairs although it is no problem to shave the hair.

Treatments are normally every 6 weeks and a full course of treatment is normally 10 -12 so it is a considerable commitment but when compared to going to a salon for waxing every month it is definitely a commitment worth considering.

You will always need a patch test before you start a course of IPL hair removal and this is also when your practitioner will run through your medical history and make sure there are no contraindications that would prevent you from having the treatment.
